Alright. Post before work.

The SHnY Title cup two weeks ago was kinda awesome.
Of the 4 round robin, much like my FSN EM deck, I had 2 win 2 loss.
The first 2 matches were kinda soul rush for maximum damage.
3rd match, lost to the overwhelming power of haruhi. LOLz
4th match was also a lost to Mikuru. Lucky for the player as he destiny-drew a card which sealed my trump card in hand.

Last week was so-so, SOY'B was ok I guess.
Sigh... Why do people with caliber do no want to compete and those who do not have the caliber want to compete...

Rawr. I'm low on cash now... Overspent for the past two weeks

Yesterday was kinda fun, playing FSN tourney in TCG at Sunshine plaza.
Well, I'm proud to say that within a week, I managed to improve my FSN deck to a decent level.
Last week's tourney at RC, Funan was a pure trashing. 4 losses straight.
But yesterday, I faired pretty well, with a score of 2 win and 2 loss.

Also my new "vintage" deck (in Magic: The gathering terms) is pretty much workable.
Using this card as my Key card.

Being able to gain 500 for every different traits on stage, this little sporty lady can reach up to 11000 on full stage. XD

Been quite busy these few days, but the wait is almost over.
I finally got my Nagato deck.
Frankly, her deck is just too awesome.

Not just that, my FSN deck has been EM(iya Shiro-look-a-like-aka-avanger)-ped up like nobody's business.

Yesterday, I played my very first tournament. Didn't fair as well, lost all 4 of the round-robin matches. All due to my silly mistake of forgetting one of the important step of the turn.

Since that 4 matches, the rest of the casual play, I kept reminding myself of that step, kinda like a hard lesson learnt indeed.

Well, at least I got my FSN Meido Rin XD

Next week will be joining another tourney for my 2nd copy =P

New job, new place, new deck and new present. XD

Graduated from school last Friday. All the time I spent there would stay in my memories.

Gotten a new job, been working in a clinic for the week.
Learnt lots of new things and made some friends there.
Well, some as it's just a small clinic.

Did my very first out-of-clinic job yesterday but it caused me my slot in the Haruhi Trial deck tournament held in TCG during the afternoon as the "job" dragged till late morning/noon.
For consolations, I get to test out my very own Haruhi Trial deck with Wayne.

The X'mas gift exchange party in Invinc's house was kinda awesome.
I goot the latest edition of "Newtype" as my gift.

Ya-hoo~ooo!

One more week or rather, 5 more days till I get my armband.
The feeling of getting the vocation badge is already damn awesome.
Now I can't wait to get that armband of Tribal Immunity.

Also thanks to Ruby, more of my JCG peeps are picking up Weiβ Schwarz.
Plus my main deck is more or less stabilised now, can focus on building/modifying my other decks.
Now, I'm just waiting for the release of Haruhi deck and sleeves. I wantz my Nagato.

Just finish spoiling myself on the story of Rachel Alucard's arcade mode in BlazBlue Continuum Shift. Yet another cliffhanger, with the appearance of a blue-eye blond lady.
Hazama is another wicked character.

At midst the time of impending doom, the light shines at its brightest.

Right after my 24 hour Duty, I kinda rushed home to bathe and wash my clothings. All to prepare for the big day ahead.

AFA09 is simply too awesome.
Although I missed Day 1 due to duty, what I experienced in Day 2 is beyond words.

Spent almost 100 on merchandises solely and I dare to say I'm not regretting.
Limited promo stuffs are still the best XD.

Never had I though that I could stay and enjoy the concert finale of AFA09.
Never had I expect May'N and Yoshiki Fukuyama to perform a acoustic guitar duet version of Diamond Crevasse.

Its just too awesome. XD

Having test after test doesn't seems half bad after all.

Earned myself a day off on Friday, which I spent on watching the Evangelion movie, modifying my Yugioh and WS decks.

The movie is SWEET!
Lots of new details drawn, lots of changes and best of all, a whole new take on the traditional story.

Another week is coming to an end. Another day closer to AFA.
Yet another hour closer to the dreaded duty.....
I'll just hope for the best possible future for me on those days.

The next time some Joker call Trading card games as gambling, I'll bitch slap that bugger.

Seriously...
As an avid TCG player, my pride has been trampled upon by that unreasonable stereotyping.

Here's the story.
During break time at my work place, my college and I were dueling in Yugioh aka "A children's card game".
Then a bugger pops in and said in a tone full of authority
"Gambling is it? OT no Kick ar? Want more projects?"

Its like WTF!

Firstly, for gambling, you DONT lay down your cards onto the table in a specific manner. In fact you hardly show what you have to your opponent.
Secondly, playing cards do NOT have colourful pictures of fantasy beings. Let alone foils and holographic prints.
Lastly, do gamblers gamble with two decks, using sleeves to protect the cards? F NO!

I really HATE it as both my previous work place and the current one, all my managers equate
Anime = Hentai
Manga = Pictorial Porn
TCGs = Gambling
Cosplay = Sex

There's a limit to all ignorance but for them, its like endless.
They had just proven how shallow their mental cognition are. As it seems so true...

The past week in camp is kinda interesting.
Got to learn lots of new stuffs which I had previously took no interest in.
The more weeks I spent in this current course, the more I felt that I'm a lucky guy.
Such skills, knowledge can never be learnt in society FOC.

However like the saying "Thorn among the roses" goes, some unhappy event happened and it dampened the morale...
Lesson learnt - "Privileges are not Entitlement"

Now back to my usual topics, currently I'm trying to get my copy of Disgaea 2 on PSP.
Oh and having to start frequenting AMK hub, I find Funzcentre a nice place to kill time/shop.
They have all sorts of Japan imported games and merchandises. The shop even sells "Portals of Three Kingdom" cards, a Magic: The Gathering booster expansion featuring the Romance of the three Kingdom, old Yugioh boosters and Hatsune Miku song tracks.

The dashboard is back to normal.

Been quite a while since I last blogged.

Last week I had awesome ice cream feast at Swensen's in Orchard. 15 scoopes of desserts, 1 slice of oreo cheese cake, 1 slice of peach pie and 1/2 a waffle.

Learnt many things in camp, encountered my 1st ever GD and passed a test.

Yesterday went back to TP to collect my stuffs from my friend whom recently went to Japan.
After which I joined the rest of my cafe family for an awesome BBQ at ECP, though I had to leave early due to the need to study for my up coming tests next week.
Hope I can pass........

For Dissida, I'm playing for the story. Lots of things had changed compared to the japanese version.

This year's Natsu Matsuri is fun. Get to meet many of my friends whom I rarely have the chance to chill out with now.

The food queue is as long as ever, lucky I got myself a nice bento. Thx Furt.
Later in the festive, the main event - Bon Odori dance, was uber enjoyable.
It has been almost three months since I last danced together with my crew and the feeling is indescribable

Had a mini Blazblue session just now with Xeth, Akatsuki, Broken, XkosmosX and Tohru.
Awesome chill is awesomely chill.

This year's birthday is indeed a memorable one.
Its the first and I hope the only birthday which I had to spend a day in my outfield gears.
Its also that day which I had a chance to chat with Selwyn (he also attended the same outfield as me) whom I thought to have lost contact with.

This week is also the week which I experience my first ever confinement which like the outfield case, hope to be the last.

Yesterday's NDP was something fresh. Take the parade for example, some commands were omitted as the contingents follow the beats of the drums.

Today, I went to Sentosa with Xeth, Akatsuki and Tenma. Needed some breather as since cosfest, I had spent all my book out times at home, mostly due to fever, H1N1 and lack of "hang-out" mates.
Tenma's cooking is awesome and Xeth's Yakult surprise is as refreshing as ever.

POP is drawing near. Cant wait for it.

Finally completed the game Mana-Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis, which had spent me roughly 2 months worth of time due to my enlistment. LOL

Gotten the ending which I wanted.
Now, I'm kinda bored and am still finding other new RPGs for me to play on my PSP.

Cosfest09 was as usual, AWESOME.

Saw lots of good cosplays.
Too bad at that time I had to book into camp so no cam with me.

This year's cosfest is more of a game cosplay for me as most of the nice cosplays are from games, like Dissidia and Touhou.
The Jetcth is pure winz.

Having Lady Luck on my side, I made a phone call to my sec-comm on Friday evening and asked about the chances of being able to roam around on this weekend. True enough, my prayers were answered and I was granted the freedom to move about. The chains of Att C which bounded me to my room were all but shattered.

And with that here's a little celebration for my freedom. XD

Bought the Limited Edition Blazblue game at FunzCentre @ AMK Hub while the PS3 console was purchased from Qisahn, splited equally with my Sister.

For the rest of the day, I hang around Suntec convention hall for TGX'09. Kinda borning as the only worthy attraction there was the VirtualLand arcade area.

Well, as night drawn in, epic TCSS with SGcafers over dinner is AWESOME. XD

Down with fever, sore throat and cough.
So... Home quaratine for 3 days and additional 2 days for recovery.

Now I'm very bored at home, can't go out due to home quaratine status. My plans for this weekend's TGX are all but gone.

Lots of things happened this week while I was away from the internet.
Stuffs like epic TCSS sessions I had with my bunkmates, it was so fun that I swear I'll slim down with that amount of laughter everyday.

Yesterday was the SHINE MASCOT PARADE at Ngee Ann city.
Took the chance to meet up with some cosplayers whom I know.
Most of the reaction are the same like "OMG you look darker.." LOL ><
The scene filled with costumes and props felt really nostalgia.
The rocking beats of the band performances, the familiar tunes, the soothing melodies.....

Next weekend is TGX'09 and the weekend after is Cosfest.
Really hope that nothing screws up for the next two weeks.....

Every weekend felt so busy, so packed now.
Like - my schedule for next sat is collect my grad photos, buy my PS3 and my Blazblue game, visit TGX. Sunday is for rushing anime and manga before I book in.

My first book-out on Friday evening. Kinda felt a little strange as I was wearing my military uniform and walking home.

Recalling the past 2 weeks in Tekong, I had really experience a lot of new things and more certainly, a change in my lifestyle.

I was a clean freak, and I'm still one. Perfect example would be that as long as I'm stinking and/or sweaty, I'll never rest on my bed. But now in the bunks, heck care.... Powdered bath then sleep cause rest is more important than having a dirt-free skin.
Another would be that now, I actually have the will to wake up early for morning jog.. lol...
No longer a NEET at home.

The training sessions are really fun, with all the cool and goofy instructors/ specialists. But the regimentation is another story.

Some of the memorial events during these 2 weeks were the "waifu" presentation ceremony, the epic TCSS sessions with my Platoon Sergent and Sergents, the technical tests and the movie screenings (We are Soldiers and Saving Private Ryan)

Sigh... 2 weeks of no interactions with the acrade made my Rachel's combo rusty.... But I still managed to reach stage 8 using the first part of the BnB combo.
*Off to rush my anime.

In just a few hours time I shall start a new chapter of my life.
Most probably a life changing one, especially in terms of lifestyle and time management.

Gonna learn lots of new things and forgetting lots of old stuffs. Like much seniors said, this two years is enough to reformat half of my cranium and bad sector the other half.

Two years.... Will time flies fast or will it just float lazily pass my hectic/systematic life.
On the bright side, I finally have enough money to invest in a home console system.
Kinda psycho-ed my sis to sponsor half of the cost of the console unit, thanks to Final Fantasy XIII series.
Soon, I need not buy tokens from the arcade to train my Blazblue.
All I need is just 1 ps3, Blazblue game, 2 joy-pads and a HD-TV.

Found an awesome game that is worthy of my time in the arcade - Blazblue.

Though the game is like out for a long time, its only 3 days ago that I started to have the feel of playing it.
Currently I'm training Rachel Alucard, a vampire.

Since the game is by arcsystem, the creators of Guilty Gear (GG) and Arcana Hearts, one might thing that Rachel is the spiritual successor of Slayer from GG.
However, after having observed my forum friends playing the game and a couple of credits wasted on finding a noob combo, Rachel isn't a heavy/fast hitter.
Instead, she resembles "The Emperor" from Dissidia: Final Fantasy in a way where both utilise traps to keep the opponent under pressure and help as combo links or set up for combo.

So after 3 days and 8 credits, I can safely say that my current level is arcade stage 5, with stage 10 being the final boss and I managed to pull off the first part of a series of BnB combo.

Day 8 - 30 April

Woke up very early that day to prepare for departure. My breakfast was....

On the 29th then we kinda remembered that Sanae-chan brought us some awesome desserts. Ate one of it as part of breakfast.

So when everything was ready, we set off for the train station and to the airport, via the NEX train.

Bad things always happen. I dropped the all important train tickets and we sort of pleaded our way out of the train station in Narita airport. ><

Day 7 - 29 April

The programme of the day was to visit Nakano, also known as Akiba of the west according to Ivan. While waiting for Sanae-chan and Ivan Oji-san, we saw this pair. =)
Normally I'm not the type who cares about animals. But I made it an exception that time.

Boarded a bus from Ikebukuro to Nakano, and found this unusual contraption. Guess what it is?

It's a drink holder. Some thing not common here in Singapore.

Being the last day in Japan for touring, Ivan decided to go K and his uncle treated us 2 hours of K-time.

Sang some familiar songs like Butterfly (Digimon opening), 1000 words, Season in the sun, A whole new world, Chain (air gear opening), Sousei no Aquarion and of course Satsugai XP

So after K-ing, we headed off to Nakano Broadway to shop.

Found awesome touhou dollfies and a big Sukia plushie on display but not on sale.

Although Ivan said that Nakano is the Akiba of the west, I kinda feel that the selection there isn't as what I expected. To me, I feel that Nakano is like a second-hand store which deals with mass purchase and re-selling, given the fact that Mandarake's headquarters is there.

Mandarake is a special type of store in Japan as they buy unwanted anime/manga/character goods/etc from the locals there and re-sell them as part of their stock.

Thus, some of the stuffs I wanted isn't there.

However, I still managed to find some useful items to buy there.

Unsatisfied by the stock in Nakano, I kinda psycho-ed the group to follow me back to Ikebukuro for a final shopping spree in Otome Road. There I found out that one of the shop there sells touhou cosplay at extremely low price and the detailing is flawless.

After the spree, we head around for dinner and had chinese cooked food. Not bad, and Oji-san treated me with Kirin Beer. XD

When Ivan and I parted with Sanae-chan and Oji-san in the station, I felt that without them as our guide around certian places, the trip wouldn't had been as fun as it is. One could even say that I'm truly owe them a big favour.

That night, I retired early after packing my luggage, knowing that I have to wake up early the next day to prepare for departure back to Singapore.

Day 6 - 28 April

Woke up fairly early that day, 5am in fact, in hopes of seeing the Tsukiji fish market in action and OMG! The sky was already as bright as 9am.

However, we were too late for the action, only to see the market in the final phase of their daily routine, the fast-speed-packing & transporting of the fresh sea products.
Had fresh sushi for breakfast and encountered one embarrassing/traumatising event.
I specifically told the sushi chef that I do not want wasabi in my sushi when I ordered a 1700 yen special which offers 15 assorted pieces of sushi, but the chef forgotten and out of the 15 pieces, only 3 pieces are untouched by the wasabi.
I struggled to eat those wasabi-fied pieces causing the chef to notice my epic battle, apologized and remake the whole set.
You might feel that its the wasabi that was traumatising but nope it isn't. The sushi in Japan is twice as big as local ones so again I struggled to finish the sushi. Felt very bad as I couldn't finish the sushi.
Luckly the chef is understanding and the whole crew greeted us with a warm thank you when we left.

Head over to a place near to Tsukiji for a morning stroll and it was along the Yamamote line.

Yup, its Ginza. Ginza is somewhat like Omotesando, featuring high end shopping and such.

After which it was all return trips to Akihabara and Shibuya for shopping.

Day 5 - 27 April

After a fruitful Touhou Harvest in Akihabara, Ivan and I decide to take it easy for that day. We went over to the other side of Ikebukuro, Sunshine City(60) for some indoor exploring.
Sunshine City is in fact 60 stories high, thus its nicname Sunshine60. Just recently that I learnt that this building was the place which my SGCafe friends Karei and Tenma stayed during each of their trip to Japan.

So what's so special about Sunshine city, its actually a Metropolitan by itself, complete with a hotel and an indoor theme park. However, we didn't enter play the theme park games, instead, we went there for a sole purpose, that is to EAT XD.

What's so special about Namjatown is that every attraction they offer will have different variety from various countries.

For lunch, we had awesome Gyoza XD

In this Gyoza alley, you can sample awesome taste from different countries which gyozas are offered, mainly Chinese gyozas, Neo-mandarin gyozas and Japanese gyozas.

Then after lunch, we head off to another food sector.

So after a hearty lunch with dessert, we head off to Otome Road which we couldn't comb the night before. I managed to buy a few more touhou items there.

Once more we returned to Shinjuku for further exploring since the night which we went to Shinjuku was for some night activities and couldn't explore much of Shinjuku.

Taking a "break" from my Japan trip recollections, I shall blog about something else.

Today, was my long awaited Graduation Ceremony.
Finally, through sweat, tears and occasional mood swings, I finally get to hold on to my Diploma.

Somehow or another, it sort of had this nostalgia feeling once more, like how I was sitting anxiously waiting to receive my O Level cert.
However, this time round I was sited in between two extremely "high" ladies so through the ceremony. Thanks to them, there was never a dull moment throughout the whole ceremony.

Today, it made me realised truly what the phrase "Time waits for no man" means.
It felt so yesterday that I enrolled into TP, going through all the fun filled times and I'll never forget my Year 1 HAP (Human Anatomy and Physiology) lecturer, Mr Low aka Mario's awesome joke about sperms.

Somehow feelings of regret start to rush in me the moment I flagged a taxi to rush back home.
It felt like its the "end of the world" and many things that could have been done yet I chose no to.
Again, I missed my chance to do what my sub-consciousness is telling me to do.
*Blame it on my super low self-esteem aka inferior complex.

Leaving the emoing one side, why I said it was nostalgic because right after all the photo taking, I rush home to get refreshed and immediately went straight out to meet with Yuxuan, Adenlyn, Weng Tat, Eric, Yan Hao, Alferd and Anil to play L4D. Much like how I spent my time straight after collecting my O levels cert.

It was my first time playing L4D with real people, instead if AIs, and its very fun.
So after 2 hours of LAN gaming, we head off to Thai Express for some late night dinner and I brought along my Ichigo-Choco mochi to share.

Time really flies..... Two more weeks till my isolated island life.

Day 4 - 26 April, Sunday

Finally the long awaited day of the trip. The day where I visited the Land of Otaku - Akihabara aka Akiba for short. The place is blooming with your anime CDs, manga books, doujin books, merchandises, games and Meido services such as meido cafe/massage.
My wallet instantly BANKAI-ed that day.

That morning, Hafiz and fellow collage, Song Te managed to catch us via phone call before Ivan and I left for Akiba. Kinda lucky that we can go to Akiba together.

While on the way to the Tokyo Anime Tower, the place where many small conventions are held, I managed to take a shot of the awesome buildings there.

The day for Akiba is pretty much simple. Hafiz, Ivan went together for their own type of shopping spree, Song Te went to search for his comp parts.

As for me, I was on my Touhou shopping spree and I totally spent all my 65K yen, which I set aside since Day 1 for Akiba.

Why Touhou? Simple. Mainstream anime merchandises are easily available through the internet or local retailers. Its the doujin stuffs that are not found here in Singapore.

For lunch, Hafiz, Ivan and I went to this famous Meido Cafe, @Home cafe.

Too bad no photography is allowed in the cafe so I cant take any pics of the cute Omelet rice I ordered. But I did purchase their special combo - main course + drink + photo service.

The waitresses there are very pretty, cladded their french maid costume, especially the lady who served us, Ichigo-chan.

Though physically Ichigo-chan isnt the most prettiest there, her smile is the most radiant, which made her stand out the most.

Took a photo with her for keepsake. Aint gonna post here. Mwuhahahahahaha...

Oh there's one Guy working there, which is something you dont see often in Meido cafe. Plus he's those bushie type (for a male to say another male being handsome, they mean it, so believe it)

One thing I realised in Japan, point cards are pretty much a common thing. Almost all the stores/shops I visited have their own point card system. So for this particular Meido cafe, their card is something which amused me alot.

The design resembles the Amercian Express card, except it has this cute anime maid profile in the center, plus it has this level system which the customer "rank up" upon the 5th visit.

I'm still a level 1 "master" need 4 more visits.. ><

After lunch, I continue my Touhou shopping spree until evening when we left for another anime related place, Otome Road in Ikebukuro. Sadly, by the time we reached there, its closed for the night, which is puzzling as the whole stretch of road will close at 8.30pm Tokyo time.

Actually for Akiba, I only managed to comb the main street plus one portion of the side. Must dedicate 3 or 4 days in Akiba the next time I go to Tokyo again.

Oh, if you wanna know how much items I bought, its one luggage full XD

Day 3 - 25 April

Had instant noodles for breakfast.

Went to Odaiba with Ivan and his aunt's friend, Sanae-chan. She gave me some high quality tea and some awesome desserts, even treated both of us a whole day worth of meal. ><

Felt a bit paiseh....

Curry rice and Takoyaki.

Ferris wheel of Tokyo, 3rd largest in the world but I have to agree with Ivan, even the world largest, SG Flyer cant even beat this wheel in terms of Beauty.

The famous Fuji TV station featured in my childhood fav anime Digimon.

Odaiba is an awesome place to visit, being a tourist attraction also housing some of the nicer sceneries in Tokyo. Too bad it was raining that day, so didnt get to have much shots.

That place is just on the banks of the Tokyo bay, so the shopping buildings there have ship based names like "the Deck", "The portside" etc.

One special thing about Odaiba is that they have this indoor amusment park, a floor full of games which promote healthy excercise, a place mimicking Hong Kong aka Little Hong Kong and a place designed with the olden days flavour like those steel playground, sandpit etc.

The last place even have the air gun game which uses normal, antique looking air gun and corks as ammo.

I really enjoyed the fun times in Odaiba and it is one of the must go places.

Day 2 - 24 April

Both Ivan and me made a trip down to Asakusa to find our manga sensei, Hafiz, whose lodging is in a private dorm, and also to visit the Asakusa Shrine. Due to some my photos being too big, I'll only upload a few pics from now on.

While at the shrine, I never would have guessed that "this" is still there.

Yup, its Sakura. Before I left for this trip, when I saw the snapshot of Tokyo in the newspaper, I thought to myself that I have already missed the season. It seems like lady luck is by my side as I managed to see Sakura in late bloom period in the shrine and along a river which wind through Asakusa area.

However the search for our manga sensei is not going well. Again lady luck has not forsaken us, we visited this internet cafe and bought ourselves 15 minutes online time. The shopowner was very helpful and aided us in finding the private dorm, and we successfully met up with Hafiz.

Then its off to Ueno for some shopping. Bought a pack of Yugioh GOLD series and I got foil Jinzo and foil Mirror-force. We loitered around until its time to head over to Shinkuju for some night activity.

While in Shinjuku, I tried out this awesome doughnut from Krispy Kreme Doughnuts & Coffee.

The Krispy Kreme doughnuts is a MUST TRY. Located opposite to Takashimaya Time Square, Shinjuku. The queue is usually 20-40 minutes long. But their service is awesome.

In order to keep the customers, they give away free doughnuts, fresh from the oven.The sugar glazed doughnut felt warm in the chilly evening spring winds and warm doughnuts felt so soft, like marshmallow. >////<

The glazing made the outside feel crunchy while the soft fluffy inside is heavenly.

The doughnut help to keep me warm while waiting for Hafiz.

Treated to tonkatsu for dinner by Ivan's Ojisan and after dinner we (including Hafiz and another of his friend, Song De) head over to the nightlife of Shinjuku.

After the activity there, both Ivan and me managed to catch the last train back to Ikebukuro and I swear, from all that rushing and running, its the only time whcih I sweat that much.

Two days after I came back from Japan.... The trip was fun. Lots of things to see, lots of nice foods to eat, lots of awesome things to buy. Here's a little recording I've done during my free time before I sleep everyday there.

Day 0 - 22 April

Arrived in the Narita Airport after 9 hours of flight, including transit. Bought the train card (Suica card) and the N.E.X express train ticket to my motel in Ikebukuro.

Ikebukuro is the 3rd busiest train station in the Yamamote Line, which is a oval-shaped line housing major stations for tourists, like Toyko, Akihabara, Shinjuku, Harajuku and Shibuya.

1st major brick-shitting experience - Although my SIM card has Auto-roaming, my phone cant detect any signal, and my phone charger cant work there in the motel while my cam and psp charger works well.

Day 1 - 23 April

Asked the motel manager about the issue first thing in the morning and he gave me and my friend (Ivan) a number for international call. Luckly it works and I managed to call back home. *sigh of relieve...

1st stop for the day is Shibuya. Its like your normal shopping district, typical city shops are there. Visited this shop called Mandarake, its a 2nd hand store which deals with anime goods/toys and manga/doujins. Bought my first Touhou card game there and I was surprised that they even sell official touhou games by ZUN.

Then, we walked to Harajuku, on the way there we pass by the NHK boardcasting station

We also went into the Meji shrine at the edge of Harajuku before actually entering Harajuku.

Next is Harajuku, the place where you get your punk/goth garments. Bought myself a long sleeve shirt with hoody and picked up a present for my brother, a set of punk hoody and shirt combo.

As fun as it was shopping there, I experienced some irritation there in Harajuku. Along the streets, there will always be Nigerians trying to push for customers. Not to be racist or have anything against them but I just dont like their method of doing business. They keep pestering people who wore simple attire like a t-shirt, sweater and jeans. Everything one of them will try and force me into their shops and the stocks they have are easily available in Bugis street.

Way too pushy...

Well, after shopping at Harajuku, we walked to Ometosando. That place is for the high-end shopping. One of this special building there is the Ometosando Hills, its a long building will beautiful interior and houses very classy shops like your LV. Took pics of this classic stairway, as it was once used as a walkway for a fashion show.

So after Ometosando Hills, both me and my friend visited this departmantal store named "Kiddyland" and I was surprised to find Yugioh Duel Terminal 5 there. Play 11 rounds just to get the cards and lucky me, I got the fetured card of that machine.

In "Kiddyland" they also have pokemon plushies for sale and I bought a Togekiss plushie as a prop for my future cosplay plan for 2010.

Found this familiar shop will walking back to Harajuku station from Ometosando, to take the JR line back to my motel in Ikebukuro.

After placing our items in our room, we head out the the busier side of Ikebukuro station. Its like another of your shopping district over at that side. The UFO catcher there is very different from the ones in Singapore. The latter ones just randomly dump the toys and let you randomly catch. The former ones actually are puzzle based, like suspending the toys using horizontal metal rods to hold them and to get the toy, conventional grabing with the pincer will not work. Sometimes one need to trip the toy to make it lean or even fall, sometimes might even need pressing using the base of the pincer machine.

I managed to catch a Nagisa toy while Ivan caught Kyou, a big Chopper and a Asuka. He gave me the Kyou figure to complete the set. XD

Now is the special part - during my sec sch days, there was this one gathering of my P5/6 class in my P5 form teacher's house. That was when he played KTVs of 周華健. At that time, i guess, it was only me and my best friend, Jerold Wong sang along. XP

Ah, 真爱. It's the song I spammed during my O Levels. Didnt really like the song at first but since my Mum and Sis were like watching the drama (that made this song famous), I kinda caught on to the soothing yet upbeat melody.

This one is also another special one. Its the ending song for another Taiwanese drama which I totally ditched when it first aired on Channel 8. It was when the rerun during the evening, around 5-6pm that I stayed to watch the drama while waiting for my dinner to be ready. Like 真爱, it caught my attention after a few eps of the show.

Friday's KTV was crackpot awesome.
Seclected some oldies to spam and a special song from Dragonball Z. XD
Dont really know the romaji so me and my friend waited for the chorus and performed the Lucky Star version of the chorus. Freaking awesome XD.

Luckly, the few rounds of practises the night before paid off, managed to sing those songs without going off tune nor forgetting the lyrics.

I feel poor now. QAQ

Simple, Politics are everywhere.

However, through politics, for self-perseverance, I have grown many masks.

Nothing much happened this few weeks, as I'm busy.
Yes, I'm a busy person.

Cosplay wise, confirmed doing Kuraz, the Light Monarch from Yugioh card game and Togekiss (human fan art) for next year cosfest.

This year's EOY might be my final take on Gola Mosca, white suit version. He's my pride and joy, the one that help me earn recognition from fellow cosplayers as well as KHR fans.

Maybe next year's SOY can do fake Gyojo or fake Goku from Gensoumaden Saiyuki, depending on my 15 weeks of hell's result.

No plans for this year's cosfest, since majority of my funds will be channeled for my planned trip to Japan, plus my royal decree has yet to arrive

Dance wise, mastered quite a few songs as well as polished up old routines.

Lots of new things happened throughout these 15 days of absence.
Downloaded Dino Crisis 2 and played in my PSP. Its awesome XD

Finally get to complete a game which made me hooked on for hours during my secondary school days.

Also I finally got my hands on Touhou Jazz music pieces. The feeling of listening to Jazz is very different to the other genre. Its like you're in this classy bar, drinking your favorite alcoholic beverage.

Monster huntering is so fun, which crack friends you get epic hours of crackpot hunting monster which you would normally hate to hunt due to their life threatening attacks.

Just ended my five months of SIP recently, on the 23rd Jan 09.

The last day was so awesome. Got a free lunch, treated by my supervisor, and I get to learn some cool abbreviations which are like OL or ML. XD

When its about time to leave, the six of us (me and five other friends) were like playing the Amazing Race, we rush to each respective managers to return our items such as office stationaries, com accounts and safety equipments. But I was lucky that the safety manager told us that we can keep the safety steel-toe boots, which is awesome. XD

Then came Saturday when I suddenly got my feeling to play Monster Hunter 2nd Generation again. Its so fun to play with friends and even more epic when we make all sorts of funny comments while rushing the boss of the map.

On Sunday, I made a dessert which I saw on TV. Its was wine and raisin ice cream. I soaked the raisins in aged wine (2000) on Friday and used it as a dressing for vanilla ice cream which I rushed to the local mall to buy in the morning.
The wine, being the medium for the raisin, became sweet an the flavour is just heavenly when I tried. XD

On the two CNY days, I was busy serving visitors and MH-ing.. XP

Going to have the ultimate platter from design tomorrow for lunch XD

Awesome week for me XD

I finally completed my task for the internship.
It has been at least 4 months since I started to work on that task.
When I initialed and signed the documents for the last batch, a feeling of relief surged through me.
Its like "Finally! Its over!"

Also I upgraded my psp memory stick to 8GB XD

Lastly, if my calculations are correct, once I recieved my pay for this last month of internship, I'll have 3k on hand XD
Planning to go and join my CCA senior and a junior for their trip to Japan this coming spring.

Yesterday was the annual EOY'08
Its was very fun. But I nearly died of shame... QAQ
The day started when I went to SakuraPrincess house to help her and SakuraHime out in making onigiri. Onigiri Packing Level UP~!
Thanks to both of them that my make-up was successful, as well as helping me in touching up the ruined portions.

Just when I arrived at the venue and meet up with my nico dance group, which greeted me with a sentence that stunned me for 3.75 seconds and dealt 350 damage.

"Nako, you replace Tim for the performance, your parts are the ran ran ruu and the pettan"
During the performance I totally miscued... rush up on stage too early and after the ran ran ruu part I really don't know where my partner for the pettan part was so I have to "bounce" behind to the spot.. QAQ its super embarrassing...

After that I joined my Tsuabsa team till late afternoon before I split from there to meet with the nico group.
Its fun to be with that cosplay group, we had so much fun posing together with another XXXHolic group during the group shots. I even purposely drop my oranges to have that "being bullied" effect for my sanyun pose.

So near to the end of the event, the nico dance had epic 45minutes dance remix.. Its awesome, even more so to see other cosplayers join in during the parts which they know.

Back from AFA'08.
I would say, the event itself is so-so... My excitement wore off in a few hours after I entered the convention halls. The event was divided into a few sections - Main stage, The Arena, Akiba Town, Anime Blockbusters, Mangaka, Planet Mecha and Industry areas.

As expected, Akiba town and Planet Mecha are the most crowded areas. The booths there sold a variety of anime merchandises and mecha model kits. I bought two keyblade keyholders from a booth dedicated to square-enix. Initially I wanted to just buy Oathkeeper but since they have Oblivion and they usually come as a pair, I instantly relinquished my money for these awesome keys. XD $30 Each!!! ><
The cosplays for both days are awesome, especially the Code Geass cosplays

Day 1
Met Knife while still at Cityhall Mrt station and walked to the convention halls. We ninja-ed the queue *just nice Lockie and the gang were waiting at the counters for their turn, collected our tickets moments after we arrived there, and further ninja-ed our way in XP.
Joined the group to tour the venue for a few rounds. It was then when I made impluse purchase on the Keyblades Xb
Had mega mac for lunch and played silent hill arcade for a while until 2pm which I broke off from the Nico Nico dance group to meet my EOY team.
We had a mini meeting as well as ice breakers in the form of poses rehearsing.
Again, I joined the team to tour the convention for 2 rounds and regrouped with the Nico Nico dance group as we wait for the conert by AniKi.
Yesterday's concert was simply awesome. The singer is the renown Ichiro Mizuki aka AniKi.
He sung song from Mask Raider, Mazingar Z, Voltron, Lupin etc. The audience was superb, all are hardcore fans for the anime/shows which AniKi's songs were featured in.
His vocals is also *speechless.... Been singing for 40 years and he still has that explosive power. XD
AniKi's jokes were also uber funny, all Hail AniKa

Day 2
Went there for the sole purpose of attending May'n concert.
Met Rowen (my secondary school close friend) there and we chatted for quite some time while waiting for May'n concert XD.
Me, AlucardX and Yuchi actually managed to get the front portion for the public but I figured it wouldn't be fun without the rest so I gave up the place for Rowen and his friends. In the end, I "camped" in front of the Arena area.
Today's concert was fun. The songtress for the day is none other than May'n, the seiyuu and singer for Macross Frontier.
Her perfromance was equally awesome as AniKi's performance. My friends and I were like jumping, swaying, headbanging and moshing to the beat of her songs.
Hearing Live indeed is different than the recorded version. I'm still high on her perfromance. XP
For the first time, I actually find myself in concerts of famous artists.

3 more weeks to EOY, yet another awesome event. XD

Shokudo pasta & drink review

Dish - Vongole Carbonara, a.k.a clam carbonara

Visual display - the dish is served in a way where the clams with their shells are lined nicely below the pasta while the latter forms a little hill in the centre. The sauce is nicely dressed up in the typical spiral pattern and parsely flakes are sprinkled sparingly onto the dish. Like usual add-on, a fresh stalk of parsely is added for the visual appeal.
Overall, the display is quite common and its does not make me go "can I start now~!" even though the food for the rest has not arrived yet.

Taste, Texture & Aroma - For the taste, its very rich in the clam taste and surprising it goes well with a dash of powered cheese provided (don't know the name). The pasta is very Q while the clams are fresh. The fragrance is also very flavourful.
However, there is one unplesent encounter is that twice, I chance upon shell bits which totally ruin the feeling. The clam fleshs are also inversely proportional to the number of shells, in the sense that its appears to have more shells than flesh.

Drink - Ume Sho cooler
This drink is basically Ume sho (of low alcoholic content) with a piece of lemon in it.The flavour of the orginal alcoholic drink is there, neither is it too diluted *initially. The subbing of sour plums for lemon is quite innovative but it lacks the authentic flavour.
Problem would be that the ice used is those typical small cubical ice which melt fast, thus diluting the drink and is undesired for any drinks. I would have given more points if the ice would be a big lump like those used in bars.
On the plus side, the ume sho compliments the vongole carbonara very well. The straw that was given is those uber thin type, allowing you to enjoy the drink longer and it is out of the norm

Shokudo is worth the money spent, though my review is more geared to the particular dish that I ordered. Base on the taste and texture of their pasta, I would like go there again for different pasta. Afterall the Citylink branch focus heavily on pasta.
I highly recommend those of age to get the ume sho. Its nice and refreshing.
Price is steep, one reason is the location, stuffs sold in the city are usually more expensive than the heartlands.

Lastly - Yes teh Pasta is GODLIKE.. X3

Finally finished watching Macross Frontier yesterday, thanks to that, I found another reason to patronise Veoh once more.

Mass spam all 25 episodes, now waithing for the reminding to finish loading.

Also, I noticed that in recent years, mecha anime tend to have awesome songs.
In gundam 00, we have Daybreak's bell and Ash like snow, in season 2 we have another nice opening song.
In Sousei no Aquarion, we have Sousei no Aquarion LOLzzz.
Now in Macross Frontier, almost all the songs are awesome, from the catchy cheerful Seikan Hikou aka Ranka "Kira" song, to the sad love song Shinkuu no Diamond Crevasse, from the upbeat Lion and Triangular ( the two opening songs ) to the slow and soothing Ai Oboete Imasuka.

My personal favorites would be Triangular, Shinkuu no Diamond Crevasse and Seikan Hikou.
I'm also quite tempted to make a plushie of Ranka's cellphone. In Macross Frontier, cellphones comes as customised accessories like in Ranka's case, its a green frog plushie, with the limbs doubling up as ear-pieces.

MIA for a long time..

Recently hooked onto Macross Frontier.
Yes, its an off-season anime, just ended recently.
Well buggers like me would like to experience the thrill of rushing anime series, having late night sleeps etc.

The show is really addictive, a mixture of comedy, romance, beautiful CG and mecha.
However, I didnt out of the blue watched it.
It all started when I played the Macross PSP game. The story triggered me to watch this series and frankly, its like watching a musical.

Never in my life had I watched an anime with so much insert songs.

Friday

Awesome Watermelon dessert. XD
After work, I went to meet up with Xeth, Broken, Karei and Invic for dinner. It has been like 2 years since I last had any meal in Hougang Mall food court.
The fried oyster omelet which I ordered is so-so... I want Chomp-Chomp "Orh Luah"
After which we head over to Xeth's home for epic watermelon dessert. We dug the melon clean and use it as a bowl for the canned longangs, pineapples, nata de coco and the melon flesh.
I cant say the ingredients for the "sauce" or water or whateveryoucallit. Its epic win. XD

Saturday

Nothing much, had sampling in the morning and managed to simulate the Necroface-life gain deck in Yugioh Tag Force 2. Its uber gay but if I cant draw the right cards, its useless.

Sunday

I had awesome high tea just now. My 3rd uncle and his wife are going to Thailand for work and will only be back in Singapore before Chinese New Year. So he treated the whole family high tea buffet in a Tim-sum restaurant located in Novena Square 2. The char siew pie is awesome, so is the drunken chicken. However, the chives dumplings just barely pass... T.T My favorite Tim-sum...

Also because of that, I couldn't join the rest of the Nico Nico dance group at the airport to send Greenzake away to Australia. He's migrating off to Australia, I hope for his safe journey.

Been very busy these days.

A piece of good news admist these storms, Pan-In-The-Box finally told me that their tailor agree on rushing my Sanyun costume, I can collect it roughly by the end of this month.

Zombied along...

Yesterday night was epic fun.
I went down to ECP for a bbq farewell party for my friends in sgcafe. The food was awesome.
AlucardX's chocolate mousse and the cream cheese cake rox!! Then I missed the last bus home so I joined some of them to ton overnight there.

It has been like ages since I last kept myself awake all the way till the next morning.
We chatted from 1am to about 3+am, then we played cards till about 6am.
Saddly there was like heavy clouds there so we couldn't see any sunrise.
The fun part later was that we did some dances on the beach till 8am. Then, we dragged our sleepy heads back home.
It has been like stone age since I last exercise in the early morning.

Now I need to retype my MP title and sypnosis, I'm changing title.

Just finish watching Code Geass R2 last episode.
Nice ending, but it's a little tear jerking.

The show begins with Lelouch using geass on Nunally, obtaining the trigger for firing the FREAJI - dimension bomb. Using its immense power, he won the war, ended it and started his dictatorship.

However, it was all planned, for Suzaku will appear as Zero and assassinate Lelouch during a execution parade. In another words, Lelouch dominated the world, causing the world to hate him and then staged his own death to remove that hatred together with his existence.

The tear jerking part is that those Lelouch holds dear will know of his plan after his death (due to Geass).
Sad....

This morning, drama unfolds.
That faggot snapped because we kept shooting sarcastic missiles at him. Maybe its personal vendetta or some other crappy reasons, he decided to use me as his "punching" bag.
Initially, I'm ready to ignore him since ignorance is bliss. However, that jackass kept his trap opened all the way from the company's canteen to our office tables. The canteen is about 5 minutes away from the office and the latter is on the second floor. Oh, did I mention that we detoured into the gents...

That wasn't the the end, what made me post this rant is that every time, everything he commented that are not related to work are sarcastic remarks.
FUCKING BULLSHIT. If you want to be sarcastic, jolly well learn how to accept sarcasm.
Who the FUCK does he think he is!! Like he's the ONLY one that can be sarcastic to others and other cannot be sarcastic to him.
Let me enlighten you, fucktard, about the rules of this game of Flames.

Total GPA - 2.88

Expected.... I just knew that my GPA will drop again for the third consecutive time. Well, at least my cGMP and PMT are C+. Made me feel a bit satisfied since I am posted to the engineering side of the manufacturing department in Lonza, need these two the most.

I'll be the most unluckiest guy on Earth if my GPA drop once more during this "sem" aka SIP & MP Phase.

WOW...First day of work and I'm already complaining...
Had a bad start for work today, and don't worry. The following rant has NOTHING to do with the company which I'm attached to.

Rather, its for the epic SMRT & SBS for their wonderful concessions system.
I was going to purchase the concession for MRT since I need to get to outram park to catch the company's bus to Tuas. However, the person behind the glass panel told me that it is IMPOSSIBLE to purchase the MRT concession today as my bus concession has yet to expire, and the system do not allow me to make purchase.

WTF!!! What has bus concession got to do with mrt concession. Sure it helps one to keep check on both concessions but this is plain BS...The system, as explained by the mrt personnel, only allows one to purchase only bus OR mrt OR hybrid concession at a time.
So I'd try the alternate method, that is to nullify my current bus concession(I'm prepared to give up the remaining days and the money) and purchase the hybrid one instead but Noooo the system do not allow cancellation of the concession. Now I have to spend additional $30++ just on travelling.

*Puff..
Ignoring that aside, the company that I'm attached to is actually very friendly, one being its a very caucasian company. Since the company is still in its primary stage, we've got experts from all over the world to help out. My friends and I would be doing GMP based job, heavily paper based. Well, its mostly validation, executing SOPs and protocols.
Somehow, it kind of feel weird since all the part time jobs I have are not office based. To have my own table, PC, etc in a location other than my home really made me feel weird. Not really my own though since its shared with my friends. Its just the first day at work, so basically we had IT orientation where we set up our own emails, accounts etc, recap on GMP, facility tour.

But I'm kind of beat from the early wake-up and the long distance travelling.

I managed to get the full routine for "Positive" down XD on thursday
Friday was yuki_shermaine's birthday. Though we just know each other no long ago, she still invited me along for her BBQ party. It was damn fun, with all the games, the food, the drinks.
Then yesterday was also another birthday BBQ for Spartan, Duncomeagain and Chris, Greenzaku brought irish cream and milk and its awesome, for once drinking milk gives the kick.

Maybe tomorrow I will suffer from fun-withdrawal symtoms....

These few days are like alot of things to do for me.

Went to the Matsuri @ Vivo on Saturday(Jrock) and Sunday(Cosplays)
Though I rarely listen to Jrock, the bands played well, especially the last band for the day. Kinda forgot their band name but their guitarist is epic winz. Just a pun, their vocalist wore this black blazer, whit shirt below, normal black pants and rocker shoes. He had this retro shades that from far, made him look like Elvis XD. *no offence

For the second day, I met up with Chris and gang for the zai fishsoup from the Kopitam in Vivo basement. After that I joined the epic sgcafe group for some random fun. We had random caramells, HHY, saikyou, danjyo, yaranaika and CAT. The whole stage practically shook while we caramell on it. XD

For yesterday, I practically stoned throughout the whole drawing session. On second though, I managed to get the first 2 parts of "Positive" routine down, including the first portion of the chorus. Stayed up late with Weilee, Kenny and Lester at TM's Mac

Today, I went down to Liang Court to slack, managed to figure out the second part of "Positive" chorus. Gonna get it down by this week. Gonna crap with my lecturer tomorrow for NAFA. Dont wanna waste time running when I know I cant even pass sec 4 standard, neither have I even trained for NAFA. Sooooo Heck IT XD

Its has been a while since I last posted an entry.

Also I've made a jukebox, instead of those individual songs. Some of the songs are plain soothing while the rest are fast and upbeat type. Some depict sadness while some are the epitome of happiness.

Sigh... Going to start my SIP soon, as in real soon. Going to Lonza Biologics situated in Tuas/Jurong Island, the extreme westside of Singapore.
The daily work duration is 8am to 5pm.
Need to wake up very early, makes me feel like really working.
Well nonetheless, I could use this 5 months as an experience, since most pharmaceutical plants and research labs are in the west.
Luckly the company does has its own transports. The nearest bus-stop is at outram mrt station, just nice along the NEL. XD

Tomorrow there's the Matsuri at Vivo, planning to drop by and dance XD

To start, I was going to were my neko-jacket to school today but it's kinda stuffy at the back so sorta changed it out to my usual cycle of long sleeves.
It was a pretty normal day, until Yonglin's presentation on his OSIP trip to Beijing. He's one lucky guy, can go to China for his SIP.

Just made another batch of panna cotta, now trying to revamp the recipe and make it suitable to my taste. The first batch to me was a little on the sweet side.

Just finished my PA SOP report, on monday I just meed to go to TP library and find the modal answer and edit base on it and VOLA.. One report down XD

Today was a normal monthly meeting for JCG. After that we dueled in yugioh for the whole day. Kazu remodified his deck into a warrior deck. Very fast and scary when he draws the right cards. Oh, I also learnt the first 15 or is it 30 seconds of the Yaranaika routine. The routine is fun to learn and my friends in SGCafe called it the "Gay Bar of Japan" LOLzz....

Around the evening, I went to Red Man to get my whipping cream, full cream milk, gelatin and vanilla extract.
In about nine hours later I'm going to try making panna cotta, without the strawberry sauce though as the strawberries in FairPrice is not fresh anymore... T.T

Now, I'm uploading Sousei no Aquarion piano ballad version onto imeem server. I chanced upon this song while scanning Nico Nico Douga, a japanese website similar to youtube but with high quality videos and audios. The song was played by this lady and I really like her arrangement of the song. Its very soothing to the ears and unlike normal piano arrangements, the tempo of this song increases gradually yet it does not affect the ambiance created by the initial slow tempo.

Yesterday was like so fun..

Went down to esplanade to learn a new dance. But the area suddenly turned into a queuing area for people who were going to watch the NE Show.
So in the end, me and my Sgcafe friends went to slack in Marina while waiting to watch the fireworks.

We did all sorts of random stuffs like feeding Touhou "head" pictures which Tim brought. Yuukuri Shiteitee ne~
While playing Touhou SWR, Dawn (Tenshi) was like trying to smash Broken (Youmu) with Tenshi's trademark Boulder-smash attack, but got reversed by Broken due to his lucky spellcard.

After the fireworks, we hang around the arcade in Marina, spent 3 dollars there with 2 dollars on TC2 and final dollar on MS4. Broken was again the epic one. Played this uber old shooting game with a shared screen. The guns will vibrate while the player shoot and there are no bullet limits. Rambo~!!

Lastly, before we left for home, I got my European Caramal Custard parfait. Its AWESOME~!!!!

EPIC POST FOR EPIC WIN

It has been a long weekend for me. These few days were very busy yet fun.

Firstly Cosfest 08 was EPIC fun.

Day1
I wore my neko-jacket with a black long sleeves out which ironically is the one Wallance though was a costume. Didn't take much of photos but I enjoyed the dances we had that day. Sadly I had to leave early as my Grandmother was having her birthday celebration around the evening.

Day2
Arrived early, well very early.. around 10.30am. No one was there yet.. Lolzz I was like the only blur-dude walking around the area, so I decided to go to BK for my early lunch. Well after the meal, I met Ah Pek (SGCafe) and chat with him. Thanks to that, he managed to convince me to change into my Varia suit. Also before changing I met Fleur.deLis who upon realising that I'm doing Gola Mosca, sort of dragged me to her team as they had a Hibari cosplayer there.

Lucky me, cause the Chrome cosplayer in that team is awesome and she's from London. Sigh, if she would have done the summer white gown version, I swear she will be the perfect Chrome cosplayer.

Rights enough of prasing, I sort of waited for a whole 2 hours before Wayne doing Bel and Ping as Basil came and at that time, I managed to get my amour on, only left the mask and the gloves. After about 30minutes, Wei Lee cosing as Lancia, Kenny as 15 years Lambo, Ali, Kim, Fiona as Gokudera, Pei Fen and Jeannette came.At least, I can put down my baggages and get into gear. Me cosplaying as the ONLY Gola Mosca in Cosfest 08. Oli also came down as Haru. XD

The whole day was fun, had a lot of photos taken, some group pics with the other KHR teams while others mostly taken with Lancia, Bel and 15 years Lambo.
The ending for Cosfest 08 was by far the most EPIC.
All the cosplayers went up the stage to do pure Caramelldansen, shortly after when the DJ repeated the song, my dance group and I did the Broken version which we practised for a long time. Its soooo EPIC and I can't believe that the cosplayers on our left(video right) tried to dance with us (we're at the center part of the stage)
we, the dance group were like OMG.... EPIC WINZ. Furthermore, yesterday, we realised that our video on youtube was linked to the Caramelldansen page in Wikipedia.

The shop is AWESOME

Along the citylink, there's this dessert aka ice-cream shop opposite 7-11. Their parfait ownzzzzz.
The taste is heavenly and very rich. =) Die Die Must Try......

Also today during the dance practice, I learnt the front part of Saikyou Pare Parade dance routine, still got more to go. Really hope that this dance group will stay on as a permanent group and not disband after cosfest. I really had lots of fun and made lots of friends through this group.

Then again, JCG might also be having dance sessions so I might drop by. Sigh, Wayne's like "you be the "instructor"".... Lolz, I cant really dance, just that I'm those type who would usually practise a lot in suitable environment and atmosphere. XO

Today I felt quite happy and I swear, its the most productive day in my entire month.

I completed my Mosca Mask, the only problem now is that my tubes were like spoiling now. The paint cant seems to grip onto the plastic surface of one tube, another one is like becoming soft and weak at the base. Most probably due to the solvent of the spray paint. Most likely, I'll bring my sand paper tomorrow and sand my spare tubes before spraying.
None the less, I completed my Mosca Maks~! XD

My Mammon is also done, except the coat since the antique sewing machine in my house cant complete the job. Tomorrow, I'll be bring the plushie to school to show them. XP

Just now, I completed my share of research for my BPT and cGMP projects. Rawrs...

Later before I sleep, I plan to modify my Neko jacket, going to add a lightweight chain onto it. Idea taken from the "Devil" jacket in Atsuki. Frankly, it was the one which first tempted me to buy a jacket from Atsuki back then.

Basically, this is a 3D side scrolling game. Imagine maplestory and devil may cry spliced together.

This game resembles Touhou, a popular STG game series as the bosses usually do screen wide AOEs. It also gives off a Final Fantasy feeling as the game has cool cinematic cutscenes and the music pieces highly complement the game play.

On first glance this game may look simple as it's just a hack and slash game but the tricky part is the contols.
This game require alot of control-handling as during the mid-boss or boss fights, your character is practically flying in the air and you have to position yourself near the opponent in order to land a strike. If you're praying that the bosses are stationary, sorry wrong prayer. The bosses are very nimble and are hard to get close to. Some of the bosses even deal you damage when you are too near.

However the easy part of this game is that every time you strike an opponent, light orbs will float around and by double tapping the special button, those orbs will trun into swords and attack the opponent.
This is particularly useful in raking up your combos and landing massive damage on bosses.

The default controls are very confusing and hard to use so I had to change them to:

G - Melee slash
H - Double tap for special
J - Throw daggers
K - Double tap for air jump, tap to recover when hit and have faster movement during that recovery period
T - unknown
Y - unknown
U - unknown
I - unknown
WSAD - standard left-hand direction controls

Rawr!!!!!

Having trouble with my mask for Mosca...
Now trying out on 100% cotton cloth. Hope it turns out well.

The emblem which my mum help me make is so-so, not really that nice but can still make it if i buy fabric markers and outline the details.

My mammo also not done yet.... T.T Miscalculated, my aunt went to malaysia and just got back this morning.

Really hope my costume will turn out good, I don't wish for epic win type, just normal passable Gola Mosca and not a epic fail aka Cosfuck type.

School starting in 11 hours time, can't wait to surprise my classmates with my Neko jacket. XP

Tired......

Started my day with a blasted insomnia, have to wake up early somemore. So, I was practically stoning my way from Hougang to Bugis in bus 80.

But the good thing was that yesterday, I bought a Neko jacket from Akatsuki for $55, nearly half the orginal price of $99. Sigh, if Singapore isn't a niche market for such apperal, they wouldn't have cost so much.
Ironically, that jacket was initially designed for small-built people, so I had to modify it into a vest.
Back to point, when I was in Bus 80, I think the passengers on the upper deck were like staring at me due to my little neko on my back. Well, who cares. Cosplay thickens your skin. =)

Reason of going to Bugis was simple. I finally got my "maiden voyage" to a KTV lounge with my friends. Yes people, I'm not lying, it was my first entry into a KTV lounge. *came from backwater island of Hougang.

We were like insane howlers there, almost all of us went off tune/key/note while singing. (cough** some even purposly go off)
One thing I realised is that when you sing in KTV, going off-tune/key/note is common. LOLZZ
Oh, we even spammed the "smoke" effect while in the room.
Sad, the lounge did not have songs by BLUE, 183 Club, etc. They have common and "in" duets and singles though.

Yesterday, I was high on durians and Gay-Bar XD

It started out a little negative as Wayne was uber-late as we were suppose to reach school early to do props. Luckly Dempster was there for a chat to kill time, and had lunch with Hafiz, my manga sensei. So I wasn't that pissed off either. I completed the basic for my Varia emblem so now is cutting out the shape and sewing on the cloth.

Wayne redeemed himself by treating moi durians, which Ping Ping went to buy.. XD
So I was like high on Gay Bar, and when I opened the door leading out if the fire-exit lift, I saw Broken and was o.0.
What is that guy doing there, he has yet to graduate from secondary school??
But who cares... So in the end, me, broken and gerchi were like gay baring the whole night.

Lastly, to end it was a celebration for Froggy's birthday. Hafiz(JCG, Froggy's bf) was like acting oblivious about it. He plans to give a surprise to Froggy but it kinda backfired.
In the end, the problem was solved and everyone was happy.

Oh before I forget, the last night's bread at Cafe Cartel was awesome. It's so warm that the butter just melts and glitters. The previous time were like cold bread with hard butter.
JCG go Cartel for cakes, I go Cartel for BREAD. XD
